BARX and YAPI are part of an emerging open source XRI stack implemented in Ruby. Currently available:

• barx - an XRI API implemented as a Ruby gem. Get it by typing gem install barx.

  It comes with three example applications:

  • dix - a command-line XRI resolver.
  • proxri - an XRI proxy resolver implemented as a Ruby CGI script. Example: =kermit*business
  • xrioid - converts any i-name into a working OpenID. Implemented as a Ruby CGI script. Example: =kermit*business

• barx-proxy - a production-class XRI proxy resolver written to the barx API using the Merb framework. Example: =kermit/(+news)
